That study took place around the great recession. Ireland along with Iceland and Portugal was hit big time back then. Might skew the results.

Nowadays I hear Ireland is becoming like a tech hub of Europe. Many Silicon Valley companies got their Europe headquarter there. That could be making the place more tolerant.

Yeah I'm from there. I understand it was a recession but the results are odd to me since Eastern Europeans have a rather low rate. Most vitriol went towards the Poles, I remember as a kid they'd shove in Polish characters in kids shows and anti racism ads to teach people to stop being racist to them

The 2017 report still shows a high rate of supposed racism against africans, which honestly I can't relate to. Then again maybe its because most live in bad areas with a lot of poor Irish.
