Yeah, no cap, aside from the security issues, no Somali can argue against the fact that Xamar is still the greatest Somali city by every metric. Even when I ask relatives and friends who live in SL and PL they are real about it when I ask which Somali city is the best; you will always hear "Xamar" with Hargeyso usually being the number 2.
My point is Xamar is the capital and was largely built by reer PL and other Somalis too before the civil war. It was complete shit until Abdullahi Yusuf brought the transitional government.
