Isn’t it just fascinating how our people vary in hair texture my sisters all have loose curls and all the boys in family have afro textured hair types . Even my extended family vary so much in hair texture we go from straight hair to straight up kinky hair .

Not really my mom and all her siblings are light skin and they have straight hair. But in my house hold 3 have straight hair and 2 have reddish brown curls and the final 2 siblings have wavy long hair. I was wondering why we Somali's have hair variations in all family? One thing I figured out is éthiopian aren't like this due to mix with Bantus
