They are some native Puntland clans that do not have representation in government. Hell will freeze over before Eelay or any other non Puntlander becomes a minister or MP.

Lafta Gareen response was extremely professional in my opinion, I think he has some intelligent advisors, Faroole initial comments about Rer Koonfur Galbeed was inflammatory and unprofessional, any serious potential candidate from Puntland should avoid Faroole, it will damage his/hers image. The political climate in Somalia has changed, open bigotry, inflammatory remarks, references to the civil war, all these are looking down upon. There isn't anything wrong with Faroole, he would fit in on Somalispot, but in 2021 Somalia political landscape he will stick out as a washed up old politician from the transitional period. His Aaranjaan crew are even struggling with maintaining the stranglehold on Puntland, and here he is talking about Koonfur Galbeed Lol.
