N&N have all the resources they need to defeat alshaab and secure the country if they have people who know what they doing.
they have hundreds of overseas trained army and police officers that land in Mogadishu every week. They have logistics and training help from Turkey, they have arial bombing and surveillance video help from US drones, they have money from Arab governments and the UN, they have foot soldiers help from Amisom and Ethiopia. So why are they failing terribly to secure even Mogadishu let alone the whole South?
Who is coordinating these ? Why are they busy with election and dirty politics in the regions when civilians lives and property are in grave danger.
How can these ppl re-elected for 4 more years when they fail the most important job they had to do? Securing the peace.
And I know this is the job of the police and the security agencies but who is at top and setting priorities.
