That guy is a comedian from Norway. He moved to NY to try his luck in international waters. He is well-known, actually. From what I’ve read in the comments and heard from others, it doesn’t seem like he targets Somalis in his comedy. It looks like he mainly focuses on broader topics and works in hosting and producing shows.

I haven’t personally seen any content where he mocks Somalis and also, it’s hard to believe someone who’s clearly aware of racism and its impacts would turn around and base their act on demeaning their own people. That just doesn’t align.

Also, you keep bringing up this “Ceer” thing, I’m not familiar with what you mean by that. Could you clarify?

From the comments and profiles I’ve read, he was a successful stockbroker, worked in finance for many years and started a few businesses/startups before shifting into comedy and media. If he wants to pursue that path, that’s entirely his decision. People are allowed to reinvent themselves.

What does welfare have to do with him? You're reaching. The guy was literally a successful stockbroker who went on to run his own businesses before even stepping into entertainment.

I looked up the Tv-Series you mentioned. He plays a character who parties too much, goes bankrupt, and ends up working in insurance.

That storyline has nothing to do with Somalis, welfare, or any stereotypes , it's just a typical character arc in a Norwegian comedy-drama.

And if you check his IMDb, he's played a wide range of roles , from cops in crime dramas to characters in fairy tales, horror films, and comedies

Names like Leon, Lovebot, Lukas, Herolden , none of these are tied to mocking Somalis or reinforcing stereotypes.

Frankly, after looking into his work, I can see why he's popular in Norway.
