This visit is to bridge new ties with Eritrea and for the Somali government to lobby for them to get removed off the terror sponsorship list because Somali agents working TPLF lobbied with Ethiopia to have them sanctioned.
We’ll see what EU and America does about this. It’s unlikely they will do anything, but Asmara knows Somalia had a minor role to play.
