What even is this union? I have only ever heard of the Somali Congress of Trade Unions (about 93k members, mostly in Banaadir and both Shabelles.

After researching the group mentioned it seems they are headquartered in Dhuusamareeb and are active in Galmudug. SOCOTU is still waaay bigger and unlike FESTU are located in all regions, also FESTU seems to be older. I hope both do good!

Both uniting would be good as they seem to overlap on alot of things. FESTU does have the advantage of being more internationally connected which is probably how they pulled this off. FESTU also is 'more' radical (both are pretty tame) compared to SOCOTU.
