Ex President Farmajoo accepts PM Rooble's decision to sack Fahad Yasssein

I said it first, this is breaking news. Farmajoo is a broken man. He admits he has no authority. This comes after PM has taken complete control of NISA, police and the military. Rooble also has the backing of Babaao Qaraan troops and AMISOM and the IC.

We still have to pursue justice for Ikraan Tahliil and the Somali troops who died in Tigray war. Farmajoo should not be allowed to leave the country and kept under lock.

If true, this is good news, we must always put ego aside and work together for the greater good of the country despite who may be wrong or right.

Thank you president Farmaajo! :)

This is good for the nation so we can move on to elections Fahad will still remain behind the shadows with significant influence. After re election we shall see the new empowered Nabad iyo Nolol inshallah. Genius Farmaajo does it again avoiding bloodshed and constitutional crisis.

This is a huge concession by Farmaajo on the betterment of the nation and avoid major conflict that could be disastrous for all.

Even if he did the only reason he accepted this is that the Military, Police and Security Chiefs backed Rooble.

Farmaajo is weak. Don’t let his sheep’s clothing make anyone lose sight of the wolf underneath. He didn’t do this out of the kindness of his heart. The man only understands force. Can’t believe this guy became our President. We’ve literally wasted 5 years.

National Salvation Forces moving back to Mogadishu

Keydmedia Online has learned from credible sources within the military that the NSF is now being mobilized and readied to enter Mogadishu.

National Salvation Forces moving back to Mogadishu

MOGADISHU, Somalia - After the break-up of a new political war between outgoing Somali president Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and PM Roble in Mogadishu, the National Salvation forces have been activated to act quickly in saving the country from sliding back into a fresh conflict.
Keydmedia English learned from multiple military sources that the NSF is currently being mobilized in El-ma'an, some 35 kilometers away from Mogadishu and Deynile within the capital.

The troops led by senior military commanders have been put on standby on several bases and will move into Mogadishu to respond to calls to prevent Farmajo from shielding Fahad Yasin.

NSF is credited for foiling a coup attempt in April by Farmajo, who extended his term by two more illegal years. The troops' action saved Somalia from returning to another dictator's hands.

This came after Farmajo rejected PM Roble's decision to sack Fahad Yasin, the controversial NISA head as illegal and unconstitutional, prompting a power struggle between the top leaders.

Yasin is facing allegations that he was behind the murder of a 25-years-old female spy agent working as a cybersecurity expert with NISA since 2017. She disappeared on 26th June 2021.

NISA issued a statement last Thursday, announcing Tahlil was abducted and killed by Al-Shabaab, a claim that the terror group has vehemently denied as baseless and astonishing.

In what seems to be direct defiance to Roble's call to submit a full report on Ikran Tahlil's case within 48 hours, the NISA director asked Farmajo to convene a national security council meeting to discuss the mysterious death of Ithe intelligence officer.

Yasin's insubordination forced PM Roble to sack him as NISA boss and he was replaced with General Bashir Goobe to serve on acting capacity. The dismissal was Swifty boycotted by Farmajo.

The fresh standoff is feared to impact the election deadline in Somalia as the PM who was in charge of the electoral process is now shifting his focus to the fight against the incumbent.

Where is the justice for the 6 sarkaals killed in Galnus and the 2 students just recently kidnapped brutally beaten and then executed in Galnus ? those people were killed by Rooble's clan and he has not spoken about it, we need justice, Rooble is responsible for their deaths.

Its Rooble who is behind all of this and they using Ikran's death as political tool

Aano qabiil is a problem between two clans and is usually resolved by clans, it doesn't require the state's level of involvement like a case where an Intelligence chief kills his cyber security personnel.

I have seen criticism by others on the Hawiye clan for not showing the same depth of criticism on AS attacks or AMISOM. I keep telling people the concern here isn't the death of Ikran it's the manner in which she was apparently killed. This could not be let go if one just blames AS for a high level person to go missing when CCTV shows her in NISA HQ. It would be easy for MPs and politicians to go missing by that accord.

AS is an open enemy and AMISOM is UN mandated, both are the responsibility of the Government so never blame the common people, we know a certain demographic didn't let the death of Saado Cali go ignored, let the public mourn their relatives and stop being insensitive.

A rogue intelligence agency is very dangerous. I am hearing from sources that NISA and Fahad Yasin coordinated the bombing of yariisow with alshabab, and this girl had evidence.

If Roble was interested in getting to the bottom of the case he would not have tried to fire Fahad after he accepted his request of presenting all the information they had about the case within the time frame he asked.

You and everyone else know this was completely political, he took the opportunity to take a political opponent out and wanted to take it further by firing Odowaa and Farhan Qaroole, a request all the foreign backed opposition has had for years now. Dismantling the SNA and NISA at the request of their masters and leaking information.

Someone here said the military sided with him, that is not true. Roble has no one on his side but amisom and other foreigners and about 2 people from his own cabinet. The military leaders, majority of his cabinet, QoorQoor, Filish, Guudlawe, all advised him against what he is doing. He can be easily removed from his position. He has ex-theatre workers talking to media now saying they support him and amisom protecting him.

This was a waste of time and a distraction from elections. He tried to neutralize Fahad and failed.

So the state should not get involved when its employees are murdered by known people(6 Sarkaals massacred), but it should get involved when the murderer is unknown(Ikran case).

What logic

State should always get involved whether the victims are working for the government or not, the political hit jobs we are seeing in Benadir, Hiirshabelle and Galnus should not be left alone to clans to resolve, it should be the state that hold the perpetrators to account. Clan justice is ugly and only leads to more innocent lives lost. Such was the case when 5 Cayr were sent to Jahanam near the spot they killed the Sarkaals.

Go f*ck yourself. Both Hodan Naleyah and Saado Cali were attacked by Shabab a terrorist group, they were both more famous than this girl and beloved by many, we didn’t kidnap anyone, try to overthrow a government over allegations, Ofcourse we wanted justice.

What happened at NISA HQ was suspect and a gross negligence on Fahad's part at the least. This isn't the first time a NISA director was fired, Yuulka fired Sanbaloolshe (HSM was against it initially but accepted the outcome 2 days later). Farxaan and Odowaa were in the PM's office last night being told to continue their work and communicate any concerns to the PM.

The State does get involved in clan conflicts by empowering local elders and ministers to resolve the issue and help with facilitating blood money, not to take sides.

"More famous and beloved by many" a subjective statement, isn't Ikraan beloved to her Mum, her abti Sanbaloolshe, her cousins etc. It's not a popularity contest, let every man and woman seek justice for their loved ones through the medium available to them.

I am proud that Hawiye stood up for a young girl, a real Somali should welcome this and encourage them to continue standing up for all victims. If a government fails in its responsibility it is a right to question and correct it.

No where near subjective. And yes it’s not a popularity contest but no need to bring us up or Saado AUN to make a point. Move around with that bullshiii

Ikran Tahlil is Gaaljecel and if Hawiyo cared about Gaaljecel they would speak up when the Ugaas of Gaaljecel was assassinated in Kismaayo by Madoobe, they didn't. They would go after Madoobe and Ogaden like they are going after Fahad Yasin and Rer Aw Hassan.

Ignored the point, it isnt about the case of Ikraan Tahliil. They dont care about it or getting to the bottom of it. In any case the National Security Council will convene on the matter.

Is Madoobe head of NISA? Does he claim to be a director of a national organisation that kills its own employees? How is a local issue a national issue? Gaaljecel adaaba bahdileysid, let them stop exporting their coal to Madoobe or threaten him like Murursade did to PL. You want to tell Rooble he can't seek justice for Ikraan who is missing at the hands of her own government only because her capo qabiil was assassinated, where does one draw the line in that case? I don't remember him even being a PM when that happened, at best you can say Kheyre aa ka seexday arrintaas. The government is indeed built on 4.5, let every representative defend his seat and constituency.
