Its kinda long btw
Interesting article tho. What are your thoughts? Very interesting towards the end about muslims not grasping they are in their dark age (in the history section of the article)......
Also read the whole thing before jumping to conclusions it may be long but im not gonna be dealing with people who didnt even press the link you imbeciles.
@Blade1 @Buraanbur911 @MuslimManMe what are your thoughts?
I hope that you are not swayed by the arguments of that article, it's nothing more than reinterpreting the Quran so as to reconcile with what he/she believes is the truth. What's shocking is that such people don't realise the ramifications of interpreting the Quran based on their limited intellect.
Are we supposed to belief that prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the sahabah, scholars had it wrong when it came to the unique creation of Adam, his expulsion from Heaven etc and that the author has the correct understanding of it ?
Furthermore speaking from an evolutionist point of view the author's claim that perhaps a mutation could have caused Adam to evolve from non-human to human while inside the womb of his supposed non human like mother contradicts the tenets of theory. The reason being every attribute/trait had to evolve gradually including intelligence, which is why a leap from non-human to human intelligence over the span of one generation is impossible according to ToE.
That's only considering one trait, what about all the other traits/attributes which sets us humans apart from other living beings ? This attempt to reconcile islam and evolution only ends up creating more issues than it solves, both from islamic and evolutionary perspectives.
