The statement said:
The international community, including the European Union, has repeatedly stated that it will not accept any extension of the term of the government, nor will it allow a parallel election, without the September 17 agreement being finalized. The EU believes that, if signed, the motion would divide Somalia, cause significant setbacks and pose a threat to the security and stability of Somalia as well as its neighbors. This motion will in no way serve the interests of the Somali people

Since when did a foreign entity have control over our domestic affairs?
