Ethiopia is experiencing tremendous economic growth, but that growth is all happening in Addis or Mekelle :ftw9nwa:
EPRDF have chosen to go the route of the Somali Kacaan and invest all governmental revenues in those two regions.
The Tigray are not even smart enough to understand that Tigray region has very low return on capital, a dollar invested in Mekelle will yield much less growth than one invested in Jimma. Their land is barren and almost completely semi-desert, with very little arable land. At least Siyaad Barre knew that if you wanted to get the most bang for your government buck, you had to invest it in Lower Shabelle. The Tigray simply don't know what they are doing, or they are extracting as much as they can for their own region so that they can have a viable independent state when the whole thing collapses.

"The EFFORT controlled enclave and related military engineering complexes have created a semi-autonomous economy in Ethiopia. They made smart choices and specialized in engineering and construction businesses. This means they do not have to rely on the Ethiopian public for their products; instead, each specialize in separate industrial branches and buy from each other and also sell to the government, which is also in their hand. The huge government infrastructural projects necessitated by the “developmental state” model create business opportunities for these engineering companies."

This is what Hassan Sheikh and his cronies are trying to achieve.

Do you not find any irony in this statement while being an isaaq who most likely supports the snm?
Since when did the Ethio government sent planes and their whole army to massacre as many Oromos as possible.War nagada waxas, doqon foqol doqon. You don't know neither history or current events.Just keep on cooking your malawaax

I can show you a lot of evidence to prove that Ethiopia has effectively been culling Oromo for generations. Even today they're made to crawl on the hot ground while being beaten by armed soldiers. They tied their testicles with string, hung them from trees, shot little kids coming home from school and all this is emerging in the midst of an internet crackdown. Oromo have it really bad.

Jigjiga is in need of economic development cooperation by Somalis across the world. It will be the city that bridges between Ethiopia and Somalia.

Internet crackdown in a country where only 2% have access to it is not a big deal.
