The land that used to be known as the "Haud Reserve Area" is majority Darood.
Bokh, Geladi, Danod, Wardheer, Aware, Shaygosh and Dhagaxbur woredas are all majority Darood. The only non-Darood majority woredas in Hawd are Misrak Gashaamo and Harshin. Even in Gashaamo you have Dhulbahante and Ogaden moving in from the south.
If it's true it's welcoming news, our port seems to hold more influence then I thought. But it's going to be meaningless unless concrete concessions are made by the Ethiopians, our politicians should take advantage of this and press hard for our own autonomous kilil or security force in our lands. Some regretful "this will not happen again" lip service isn't going to cut it.
