Oh, ignore my troll past. If you want my serious thoughts, I still think what HSM did is treacherous. He spent the whole year hyping Somali citizens and telling us he would remove Ethiopia from the new amisom but just lied. Don’t forget he also said by June 2024, Shabab would be eradicated and was proven a liar. How can we trust someone who doesn’t honour their promises? Also I agree, federalism in Somalia is very compromised and it makes the situation difficult but he should lead with example.

Federalism in Somalia is 100% compromised. I'm not inherently against federalism I think it's a great idea, but not when each state acts in Ethiopia/Kenya's favour or that of another country.

HSM/FGS is essentially powerless. Army nonexistant, can’t fund their selves. Clans, yours included are on ethiopias side. Villa Somalia had an ethiopian office next to it and somalis only operated in it. The level of treachery back home is unpresented. Hsm could only run to his financeries for help.

People always forget that while Xi is a strong leader, his committee is also powerful and helps keep him in check. Our political system is weak because if HSM has the caliber to be president, what does that say about the caliber of his advisors and committee? He’s most definitely not held accountable either.

Ethiopia is not the problem the poor leadership and corruption of Qoslaye is the problem, since he took office the country has evolved backwards, now he's fuelling a war in JL instead of removing Al shabab and the foreign troops in south Somalia... But you keep on keeping everyone else accountable.
Ethiopia is the cause for the poor leadership. They along with the USA (and Israel) put this puppet government into place. At the moment Somali is basically still a colony.
There is no hope for literally all Somali states at moment. A strong Somali state would always be Islamicly aligned, and because of our extremely strategic location (((they))) will never let that happen. In conclusion all Somali states will most likely always be shithole for the foreseeable future.

No need to be so dramatic. Ethiopia and Kenya aren't paradises either, in fact, in many ways, the former is actually worse than Somalia despite never being invaded or meddled with. More importantly, there isn't a conspiracy to put Somalia down due to "our extremely strategic location". Malaysia (a Muslim country) is also located near the equally important strait of Malacca and they were never targeted. Even Djibouti which rejected the idea of fighting the Houthis was never punished.
We don't need to blame others for Somalia's poor leadership, it stems from within. Change must come from home.
