Gadabursi side of Jigjiga will be connected to the coastal Awdal. There is Oromo and Dir Coalition even SL wants to join Ethiopia after she lost SSC but Ethiopia is focusing on Gadabursi first and awdal State. Gode was the first Capital of DDS it's close to Baladweyne wich will be good for Hiiraan State and FeerFeer dry port.

Have you forgotten that there are many foreign bases in Djibouti? Do you think they will allow the Djiboutian gov't to fall and let the region become unstable? With Yemen being in war, I don't think they will let Djibouti experience the similar fate and risk the bab el-mandab strait.

Ethiopia is also too dependent on Djibouti who controls more than 90% of their trade. Any attempt at starting war there will lead to Ethiopia loosing its supply of livelihood and collapse of the government and thus disintegration of the country.

And what type of support can SL even provide for Djibouti? They won't receive any military support from them anyways. The arms embargo technically still applies to SL which is why they can't import weapons.

I didn't mean killings/direct fatalities only. A lot of the casualties in Tigray was due to the blockade of the region. Granted, it will not have the same effect in the Somali region as we have Somalis living next door, but that's part of their war tactics.

Moreover, they are definitely weakened now as the suffered casualties of great magnitude and a large part of their arsenal being gone. In the war, they desperately took a lot of loans to keep the supply route of weapons from China, Iran and especially drones from Turkey.

My point was that Ethiopia today won't spare anyone or anything if they go to war. Despite their weakness, if the state is at stake, then they won't hesitate to go all in again. After all, their greatest advantage is that they keep conscripting people irrespective of how many people they loose. Their citizens are just a mere number.
