That is Ugaas Rooble Ugaas Farax, why would we claim someone else lol, think you're mistaken him for Ughaz Roble I Ughaz Samatar Ughaz Shirdon or Ughaz Roble II Ughaz Nur II Ughaz Roble I, also known as Ughaz Nur Roble, was the 11th Ughaz of the Gadabuursi. He became leader in 1848 and ruled until his death in 1898. He was both a poet and a statesman. In 1876, he travelled to Egypt, where he met Ismaāil Pasha, the Khedive of Egypt. During this visit, he was honored with gifts and medals. He also signed a treaty with the Egyptians.
The treaty gave Egypt influence along the Somali coast and caravan routes, but it also provided protection for Muslims in Somaliland and Ethiopia. This was seen as a way to counter Ethiopian imperial expansion.
Ughaz Nur II also had strong ties with the Emir of Harar and resisted attempts by Menelik II of Ethiopia to bring the Gadabuursi under his control.
Here is a history lesson for you, the name Gadabursi goes back to the founder Ali "Gadabursi" Madalug Dir.
All Gadabuursi stem from Saeid Da'ud. He had 5 sons (Mahamud "Samaron" Saeid Da'ud, Jibraon Saeid Da'ud, Eli "Gobe" Saeid Da'ud, Ismaeil (Heibjirre) Saeid Da'ud, Ali Ganun Saeid Da'ud), Samaron was 1 son whose branch grew, and the other branches got smaller due to war and famine. There was a compromise made, after futuh al habasha, and it was resolved. Eventually, the three sons of Samaroon and 4 of his uncles formed Habar Afan.
