In most cultures, the odeyaal are revered and their opinions respected due to the wisdom they're meant to have. I have never, in my life seen anyone like a Somali elder back home. Dhaqanxumo, diin'laan, no wisdom, tuugnimo, and no logic. They know it's not them that's dying but the younger generation. My qabiil isn't even in top 10 worst Somali qabiils, and you should've seen how the younger youths were getting brainwashed. Can you imagine what qabiils like HG, MJ and MX are?
