Normal size men that are not brave but not coward at the same time. But Somalis have this proverb
" Geesi sarirtiisa fulay aa ku sexdo" :mjlol:

because of this bad advice, we have been breeding medium height coward men who sold their country for dirt cheap and people wonder why Somalia is a mess

hooyo Somali advising her daughters to not marry three types of guys:
short man
tall man
brave man

I need translation. I repeated many times to hear what she says about short men, but for the life of my ears and understanding I could not catch it.

However--- she did say about tall men

During hard times, he goes to bed with an excuse that he is sick. He wants water prepared for him. Basically a cry baby. Doqoon dheer kheyr maleeey.

As to the brave man, she says--he runs to protect the camels, runs toward danger and leaves his wife alone. Or his family behind. Notice she mention he leaves a lot of babies behind. She didn't mention babies for the tall laas or the short one.

Basically what we know of alphas and bad boys here in the west is known as "geesi" in somali traditions

She recommends a man who prays to Salat and always cleansed in Wudhu, and will be good to parents and parents in law? Which is sensible i guess.

I guess medium height is the desired choice too?

But someone translate quick for me what she said about short men
