It’s not, I posted thread about this. The final goal of the EAC is to work towards the EAF. Which is a federation of all 7 countries

That is going to completely fail since is includes Congo, South Sudan and Somalia. Maybe it would have worked if it was just Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

Why would they attempt this with nations like Congo, South Sudan and Somalia? Those three are dead weight and they'd do better not roping them in till they are somewhat stable.
