Refugees aren’t stupid people who are unlettered on what countries they flee to. A genuine refugee’s main goal is to flee conflict and settle in a safe country for a period of time until their home country is safe enough to return to. Why go all the way to the UK when places like Southern Europe, Egypt and Turkey are all perfectly fine safety wise?
The irony is the UK is the furthest nation in Europe they could’ve fled to.
