The locals do mostly khat and weed followed by tablets like tramadol amongst others, lean, alcohol etc.are also available.

Even crack is smuggled in and in use. Huge box of crack cocaine was smuggled in to Xamar and it reached my nephew’s house as the local uncle who found it at the port was not to sure what to do with it.
