How would life be like for you if it wasn’t for religion

Life would be so empty without Islam. Diinta helps you through life’s trials and tribulations and gives you a clear purpose. Wallahi it is very true that this religion is a mercy upon us

I would probably off myself. Its the only thing that keeps me afloat. If islam didnt exist i would have no purpose to be here

knowing that everything about me right now was already written in the preserved tablet 50,000 years before my soul’s creation relieves me.

I don't know about emptiness or anything like that, but i'd be the biggest hedonist on the planet lol. Would probably get up to lots of saqajan stuff if not for islam.

Thats one of the things i like about it. It provides the person with parameters they can function within.

Hedonism, misery, suicidal, nihilism, depression, hopelessness, living a life without purpose, ect. And abusing haram substances like alcohol and drugs to cope with such a life not worth living. Alhamdulillah for Islam.

I would still be straight-edged and not prone to excess anyway. There are certain characteristics we have independent of religion. However, Islam makes sense to me, so I believe it. Faith merely amplifies my inclination toward temperance. Religion to me is chosen rather than simply imposed from without. I just had to make a note of my disposition/ core temperament, which, since I was a child, has been quite stable, consistent and enduring. This is owed to IIahi.

I'd probably default to nature worship and reverence. Spend a lot of time hiking, going to beaches, working with animals, being in tune with the natural world, eating lots of hilib and enjoying sunshine, grounding, meditation and weight-lifting. A philosophy akin to this and this.

I wouldn't remotely become some degenerate or harm people for my own gain. I thankfully appear to have a capacity for empathy so no for the latter and in the case of the former I despise simple and easy pleasures. Alcohol, hard drugs, PMO, weed— there's always a come down and long-term decline in mental health.

I can relate to this and would most likely live like that too. The beautiful thing about Islam is that it also allows you to indulge in all of this. You can take in nature and the world around us all while knowing there is a creator behind this. Whenever out in nature or enjoying its senses around me, it brings me in great awe and peace appreciating the work of Allah SWT
