Arabia had slavery all the way until the 1960s and it continued to exist lowkey later on.

People seem to think that Arabs enslaved Ethiopians, which isn’t true. Ethiopians enslaved Ethiopians, they were then bought by traders(usually Somalis, or other Muslim ethnicities) and then exported to the Gulf or South Asia. Somalis never enslaved other Somalis.

Biggest source of ancestry in Afro-Arabs seems to be the Zanzibar area (Tanzania/Mozambique etc) followed by the Lake Chad area.
Ethiopian ancestry, even the Omotic kind, is very low in most Afro-Arabs.
They just look pseudo-Horner because SSA + Arabian can look this way.
