We have the longest coast in Africa and access to many trading routes....Simple, seafood.
Also, we have many camels that produce enough milk. Why don't we make products out of it like yoghurt, cheese, butter, cream and etc?
We can make desserts out of it. Why don't we make our own versions of breads and khubz. It's so easy to invent your own cuisine. We can take food from other cultures and make it into our own with a Somali twist.
Cambulo is veganCome up with vegetarian and vegan dishes not everyday red meat

I ears shark meat smells like urineIt is but I meant there is more to seafood than fish. Do they eat sharks in somalia?
Why is seafood not a staple in our diet
Cambulo is vegan
Camel milk doesnt produce any cheese
Imagine bragging about having the longest coastline in Africa and only have a couple fish dishes on the menu. Why is seafood not a staple in our diet
I like cambulo with milk and sugar@Yusra Luuza
Maybe cambuulo with other veggies. They now add too much oil and sugar which isnβt healthy.
I never eat by hand but I eat by my 3 fingers the sunnah wayWe have enough main dishes, our bariis is the best. We have enough dough based dishes as well, canjeelo, sabayad, muufo. And we have our version of pita bread as well, it much bigger, I forgot its name. Just remembered it, ceesh
What we truly lack is desserts. Macmacaan like xalwo is not a dessert
