I feel you but, no offense to xalimos, if I see a girl looking nice in a baati and look up and see her face and she has the typical Somali look, it turns me off. At that point she looks more like family to me I think? I'm not saying Somali girls are ugly but it throws me off

Well we cannot manipulate our own feelings in this matter, it's something involuntary. You might find yourself to become attracted to one spontaneously when you are in proximity to them or not. Well its not particularly a problem at the moment.

It's true that I don't know what it is like but I have a strong feeling I'm not built for it. I don't wanna be married with kids and end up hating it.

You probably grew up or interacted more with non Somalis from a young age. I have heard this from several people who weren’t exposed to many Somalis growing up.

Younger people who grow up in an area with many Somalis are more likely to date/ interact with the opposite sex during their teen/young adult years , maybe you haven’t experienced that.
