Does all the people from Somaliland think like this 💀

You are right and wrong at the same time, Xamar looks unrecognizable now from 5-10 years ago. Xamar was 75% destroyed from ground up, the multiple wars and bombings. There was even looting of infrastructure to the point people were melting steel pipes, water pipes, electrical cables, breaking marble buildings etc and selling it to the UAE and Kenya. Some people doing the looting became millionaires overnight. The Kacaan infrastructure isn't there anymore, however there a bridges in the North, Berbera port and even the Presidential estate of SL which are Kacaan era projects that have been maintained.

Also Hargesia wasn't just built by it's citizen, a lot of international orgs and countries like the UK helped. If Hargesia had the same type of funding or investment Xamar had the last 5-10 it would be way better than Xamar. The thing is a lot of people from Hargesia have started to invest in Xamar instead of their home for some reason, if you offer incentives to invest there people will go there.
Xamar was not destroyed to the ground with artillery bombardment and airstrikes like what happened in Hargeysa in 1988 and it's huge achievement how the local people rebuilt the city back and expanded it becoming a large urbanized city which 31 years ago it wasn't as it was a small city with low raise buildings surrounded by trees an everyone knew each other and now Hargeysa is much different.

I have seen how it was 20 years ago and most of the buildings were intact with some with bullet holes only while the old district of xamarweyne still exists in the case of Hargeysa all the old historic buildings were completely razed to the ground by the govt forces.

No other city in Somalia suffered as much death and destruction as Xamar that's a fact. It looks completely unrecognizable from 10, even 5 years ago. Even multinational corps and the United Nation can verify this. No need to cope.

Civil War of 91'
Pipes and infrastructure materials being melted down and sold
Roads and builds purposed being torn apart and sold
Civil War of 92'-94'
30,000+ US soldiers who bombed and burned civilians
10,000+ Ethiopian Soilders in 2006 who killed indiscriminately
Hundreds of Al-Shabab

The city was raised from hell and back in the last 5-10 years. Everyone knows this, it's the one of fastest growing cities in all of East Africa and the fastest growing one in Somaliweyn

If you were to visit xamar 2011 after all the wars ended and before reconstruction period, trust me you wouldn’t be saying this. The place looked like a cod map

So were reer Xamar turned to refugees in massive camps in the 90s?? And how come the old district xamarweyne buildings are all intact buildings that are much much older than Hargeysa??

Sir I'm from Hargeysa my family home and our old business building were completely destroyed in 1988 from artillery to Airstrikes that have left nothing in Hargeysa which forced majority of its inhabtitants to tcross the border and take refuge in Ethiopia with set up UN camps in Xaarshin and Harta Sheekh near Jigjiga.

Sxb I'm not denying the development Xamar has experienced in the last 10 years, what I'm saying is Hargeysa that you and I know now is different from the Hargeysa your parents knew as everything was built from ground up in the last 30 years
