Personally, I think it is pagan culture and I want nothing to do with it. I will buy my wife a set of assorted jewellery instead.

I would take my wife to a jewelry store as soon as the meher is done. Then tell the store clerk nothing but the finest for this xalimo. As soon as she tries it on and she's happy with it I'll tell her the ring is pending oon how good of a wife she is.
