Do you think that the Somali language will survive here?

I'm just asking because with that kind of thinking sooner or later it could infect us back home and we might they might say why not assimilate into arabic, amhaar or Bantu life. What's causes the ineptitude of assimilation?
I wouldn't worry about that. It would take a lot for us to lose our language in Africa. Our culture has changed, but not our language. We'd have to get colonized for 100's of years for that to happen.

plenty of people speak the lingo and the country is getting so it won't die any time soon
I've seen a few Somali politicians speeches recently and I've noticed more English words and phrases from them. I know some of them are diaspora raised and bred so can that be a major problem back home in the future? I know you can't save everyone. You gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette.
