Do you think every 4 years election democratic system is suitable, for a developing country like Somalia?

Let's be honest 4 years is too short to achieve anything.
Every new government will try to announce a new project to make extra for themselves.
Every 4 year election slows our progress.
Look at china, south Korea, Singapore who developed rapidly under one party rule. Compare that to democratic countries like India, Philippines, their progress is very slow.

No. I don't believe Somalia or Africans are ready for a sophisicated democratic system like we have here in America.

Africans, Somalia included need a tyrant, slash dictator for stability purposes. He needs to rule for years, over 20 if possible, or 30. Africans will only fear someone who stands on their head & tells them to shut up, otherwise they will think u r dumb and start doing a coup on your dumb a$$

To keep your balance, you must keep moving.
Countries are like people. They are born, they crawl, they walk, they run, they die.

How is Somalia supposed to progress if you want it to keep in an arrested state? Any society goes through those stages.

Stop looking down at Somalia, especially those living in the West.

Things have changes. Times have changed. Somalia needs democracy which will bring self-respect among citizens as participants of their country's political life.

Somalia especially the Reer Konfuur will never last with democracy, its inevitable. In the next couple of years or decades, there's bound to be some type of dictator on the come-up. I would hope to see a successful democracy for the Somalians but I believe its highly unlikely

Yes I do,

We already had a strong man and it ended in disaster.

We have to give democracy a chance, things will improve over time. :)

Maybe getting rid of term limits but with presidential elections and 1m1v in tack, so that if the incumbent president is shit and isnt getting anything done he can get voted out. However that does raise concerns of corruption and electoral rigging, last thing somalia needs is a Mugabe esque president.

Democracy really isnt the most efficent governmental model for a developing country, but its the only way to avoid terrible dictators like the ones that have shown up throughout the world and especially in Africa.

Somalia just needs good governance to develop with a focused goal and trajectory, both of which it lacks atm.

Obviously he kept up appearances for the soviets but he didn't believe in communism. That's the reason the soviets betrayed us, also he refused to entertain the ridiculous idea that the soviets had of creating a federation with ethiopia.
a federation with ethiopia uff still he should have sided with the us it would have been the better option as we could have communism as an excuse to invade them as we where liberating our oppressed brethren from the evil commie adistopian regime combine that with a better timing and more allies and the whole country might ass well been ours
