Do you support Hamas' strategy?

As we all know, the reason why Hamas has choose to drag out its war against Israel is to weaken public support against Israel and make them look like they are doing genocide and war crimes, which so far it seems to have partially worked. Specifically, look at how the US has gone from “Israel has carte blanche” to “we’re going to sanction settlers and tell Israel to chilll out publicly” over the course of ~4 months. That’s an enormous policy shift, one that was unthinkable a decade ago, and has the limited foreign support Israel possesses steadily eroding.

I personally think Hamas was hoping they’d have more overt support at this point, but it’s important to remember that these organizations are very resilient. Hezbollah is a good example of how they can be pulverized and still wind up stronger than ever a generation later Israel’s stated goal of destroying Hamas will be difficult to achieve. Hamas is waging a PR campaign with periodic outbursts of extreme violence. This was always a probable outcome for them. They knew this. They want to be the anvil that Israel breaks against. They know this requires taking blows.

So I guess the fundamental question is: do you support this strategy? Gaza has been seeing unprecedented levels of causalities and destruction which to many observers is proof that Hamas is intentionally endangering Palestinians and giving Israel justification to continue their campaign but I want to know what you guys think.

In my opinion it depends what is the palastinian thinking about this if their sacrifice is worth it to bring about change. There are obviously palastinians who are not willing to die over this and have left or are leaving but there are also palastinians who stay in the land no matter what

Didn’t Trump remove the sanctions imposed on West Bank settlers? He basically gave them carte blanche as far as I’m aware. But he’s under heavy pressure because his MAGA base is becoming more openly anti-Israel and anti-Semitic. With Trump being the impulsive buffoon that he is, it’s hard to predict if he will pivot ,he’s unpredictable.

I don’t think Hamas had any elaborate plan or strategy behind their actions either. Bishara Bahbah, who mediates between Hamas and the U.S. government, said they were caught off guard and didn’t anticipate the scale of Israel’s brutal response.

Hamas is split between its political and military wings. The political wing has already announced multiple times that it is stepping away from governance in Gaza. Abbas, the head of the PA, even said the same thing in his speech to the UN this week and he wouldn’t have dared to confront Hamas like that without the consent of Hamas’ political leadership.

But the real problem is the military wing. It operates autonomously, ignores the politicians, and holds them in contempt.

Most likely, it will morph into a guerrilla organization similar to the IRA or ETA.

I fully support the resistance in all its forms. This moment may be one of the greatest peaks of global support the Palestinian cause has ever seen, and only God knows if such momentum will come again. So many Zionist secrets, once hidden from the average American, are now being exposed. People are finally learning how education and textbooks are manipulated, how billions of dollars in U.S. aid are funneled to Israel every year, and how our politicians are bought and forced to pledge allegiance to AIPAC and Israel before serving their own people. The shift in American consciousness is powerful, and it strengthens the cause.

Secondly, a post October 7th world has put a damper on the Abraham Accords and I believe we will see that many Arab countries will be hesitant to continue down that path. The strike in Qatar and the absence of real military deterrence across the Arab world have only reinforced this shift. Israel has revealed itself to be arrogant and self-serving across the Middle East, caring only for its own interests.

They likely didn’t expect any overt support. Instead, they recognized their growing isolation on the global stage and understood the urgent need to secure political and moral backing wherever possible, and that I think they achieved.

In two years, they may have militarily weakened Hamas but they are still alive and kicking. With the newly introduced Trump Plan, I doubt Hamas will agree to be stripped of their arms.

The true aim of October 7th was to send the entire region into chaos. Right now it may seem like Netanyahu has everything under control, but currently everything is going crazy?

Who would have thought that occupied Palestine would be struck as hard as it has been since?

Who would have thought that the U.S would bomb Iran?

Who would have thought both Iran and the Jews would have bombed Qatar?

Who would have thought Hezb would have it’s entire leadership destroyed?

Who would have seen Assad fallen?

Who would have seen a port in occupied Palestine get shut down?

Who would have imagined the Houthis defeating the U.S?

No one knows what will happen next.

Long term : Yes
Short term : No

The war has set yahud rep in the dust bin and now no one gives a f*ck what happens to them. Yesterday a Syrian dude killed 2 people and the was little outrage lol. A few Popular right wingers were shouting "never again" but almost all of them were shut down and humiliated. American support is at an all time low. If Arabs had any courage to fight, majority of the western world excluding yahuuds and boomers would support them. Global "Antisemitism" has reached extreme levels that they are now buying the entire social media apparatus (TikTok, X, Youtube and Google). Carab peoples have an even worse image of jews and if their gov colludes with them, it's over for that government. Iran has also recovered significantly from its supposed oppressive and dictatorship image with massive global support. Internally, its more united then it ever was due to the 12 day war. Liberals and Conservative Iranians are now marching had in hand lol. Its public image is basically the only nation which killed yahuds to defend itself. Qatar got bombed and its own civilians got killed, they accepted a apology from yahuds :dead1:

Short term I would say no because many people have been mass killed.
