I work at a clothing store so I pray in the fitting room area I think the lady in charge of it hates muslims because she always asks me what I'm doing lol, like she doesnt know at that point
Just tell her, the truth will set you free.
I always tell my friends when I'm studying with them

I share my office and there's nowhere to pray and no mosque nearby. I save my prayers for when I get home.

There is no excuses, if there is a will there is a way, you can pray anywhere, I used to pray in a dirty storage room back in those days when I was starting out or in the office in a corner, sometimes at the very spot were I sit (putting the chair to a side)

I remember praying at a stairwell in a library at university were 99% were gaalo and a group came past thinking I was praying to Jesus, these are all public displays of Dawah along with your good character.

The reason you refuse is because you feel ashamed, and you feel ashamed because of a lack of iman, and that lack of iman is as a result of your distance from Allah.

I remember when I was very young my Grandma would pray in a park when salah time came in front of all the Gaalo who would all stare at her (20 years ago), back then I used to feel ashamed while at the same time in awe of her immense courage, she of course didn't give a damn about these people.

I understand that societal conditioning is very powerful, but you need to resist this, what you are doing by combining all the prayers at home is simply not allowed, if there is a will, there is a way, work on strengthening your iman.

Don't project your low imaan on me, I don't feel ashamed at all.

:dead: Some savagery taking place here.

I'm sure your colleagues know your Muslim by your appearance and that you pray daily. But Surely, you can find a way to pray at on time. Is no space at all in the office suite? Can't you use your superiors office or something?

I wear jilbaab so it's obvious that I'm a proud Muslim.

I've seen him tell people they they're gaal acting and even seen him do sly qabiilism so ppppfffftttt

We're all in one small office, the rest is office space for other companies. There's nowhere to pray trust me. Not even a utility cupboard. I bet half the people saying shit about my Iman don't even pray.

He made takfiir on Reer Bosaso. :pachah1:Out of all the somalis he singled them out. They are the ones with the best akhlaq (relative to other somalis). They are much better than our Reer Hawd. :jcoleno:

NGL I questioned your Imaan too when I first read the thread. But after a few posts I got the picture. I wouldn't know what the ruling is for someone is your predicament so I can't really say anything.

And as you suggested, your better off looking for advice elsewhere.

You can pray anywhere as long it's clean.

We have a prayer room in our college. However, the place I do my internship has no where to pray so I pray in the dressing room at a shop nearby.

I pretend to try stuff on then quickly pray. They probably think I'm a bit of a nutter to pop in so often.

In future don't question anyone's Iman. It's not up to you whether Allah accepts my salah or not or anyone else's for that matter. This is a Somali forum and Somalis are 99% Muslim so I thought I'd ask here.

Mashallah. How did you figure out the qibla of that shop?

I’ve always felt uncomfortable praying salah at school so I used to make it up at home :cosbyhmm:

However now it’s easier but I can’t shake the habit
