Insurance is a different beast varies by states and they make it as confusing as possible to bleed you dry.

Nevermind many states have different variations of "free" for low income students but some states you can only the federal grant which is a couple k a semester or quarter. Thankfully most somalis live in left leaning places.

Alhamdulilah a nice amount and yeah I never understood ppl who live beyond their means to impress others or as therapy. Real therapy is a lot cheaper. So many of my friends don’t save a thing and just like spending wallahi I grew up poor and I learned about how important it is to have money when times get hard.

I don’t really know a lot about investing, however I should start researching as it’s getting to be an amount that would be stupid to just let sit in a savings account. On the other hand usury is a huge sin

I will start saving a lot more when I pay off some debts inshAllah.
