DO YOU GUYS respect your clan’s royals? Each clan has a royal. In my clan I have Caaqil & Sultan. Others have Garaad

I always laughed at that. It’s so easy to crown yourself as a “royal” when your people are just random camel herders who don’t stay in the same place for longer than a month lmao.

Your subjects don’t pay tax, they don’t do anything for you but you’re a self declared king. At best you’re a patriarch/clan chief.

While reading this I remembered this guy and laugh out loud...:russ::drakelaugh:

Yes, I respect my clan royals. I have two, one at a very subclan level, the Fiqi and one at regional subclan level the Islaan. I loved the previous Fiqi who passed away in 2017. Whole subclan loved him AUN. In our culture it’s a sin to say something about the royal elder, even lying in front of him will cause your mouth to disfigure (afkaa ku qaloocanahayo as they say). We believe that the Islaan is awliya. There’s a famous story when the Italians arrested the Islaan, he was being transferred to Mogadishu. When the time of prayer arrived, they refused the Islaan to pray, as a sign of Allah, the prayer carpet flew over the car until they stopped and allowed him to pray.

Royals and leaders, wtf is the clash of clans? I am not obligated to show them anything. What have they done for me besides sit on their ass.

Tbh the aristocracy class back home is kinda dead. There’s nothing that really separates us and them.

My house in Gaalkacyo is a few houses away from the islaan, who lives near the yamays lake. I remember it being the only house in Gaalkacyo with CCTV all over.

I went to crowning ceremony of the Cali Maxamed chief outside Beyra with some of my relatives. It was the social event of the year when I was in Gaalkacyo lol.

I am indifferent to clan elders. I respect anyone much older than me but I do not believe monarchy or hereditary positions.

That being said, I respect boqortoyada as long as they are not involved in politics or take public funds.

You are probably Reer xirsi. Why do you have Reer Abdile son up when you are Reer Hirsi?
