Do most somali parents have a problem with their sons growing out their hair?

I've noticed that most of my somali friends that did grow out their hair faced disapproval from their parents and were called "madax jini" and homeless looking :(

My future son will never be allowed anything beyond a number 1. Growing out long hair leads to excessive confidence and disobedience.

Look at the mugshots of wayward Somali boys. They all have some form of Rasta or long hair.

Short cuts are hijab for Somali boys.

Getting draids inshallah
This is something I never understood. Why does having long hair get them so heated? It's just hair :childplease:

Having long hair complements my face well so I'm keeping it. :mjdontkno:
