There is no proof that the Habar Awal and Issa bordered each other before the arrival of the British. In fact, the Habar Awal stole the lands of Absame by being friendly clans of the British. Also, after the Adal collapsed, the Gadabursi clan was formed. So their clan is a collection of all the tribes and people of the Adal who were scattered after the Oromo invasion.

Are you related to either clan? You are from eastern Somaliland, not western. What's your problem with MJs, Isaaq and Issa like @Near asked?
