Djibouti is one of the countries where people are getting shorter.

Djibouti has one of the lowest HDI ranking when you consider its GDP per capita of 3.4k which is higher than that of Morocco and Tunisia. By contrast, landlocked Uganda which has a GDP per capita of only 800 has a better HDI ranking than Djibouti. How disappointing :(:(

the height difference between issas and other somalis is indeed quiet noticable. samaroons from borama are also on the shorter end of the height spectrum but not too short.

Not necessarily. Most of my family is over 6'0. Somalis back home on average aren't very tall because of malnutrition. Its evident from their wrist circumference. I have been to Hargeisa its not much better.

I prayed at a big masjid when I was in hargeisa and borama. I noticed that I was taller than majority of the people in borama but not so much in hargeisa. I could be wrong though cause I only stayed in borama for 1 day

You should not look at GDP per capita.
But you should look at GNI per capita which is the real gdp.
Djibouti has a gni per capita of : 5300
Morocco : 8030
Tunisia : 10590

You average Ugandan do not live better than the average djiboutian.
If you really want to compare things you should use this:
https://fragilestatesindex.org/country-data/
you have all kinds of metrics and you can compare countries based of those.
