Puntitequeen people don't just die for centuries or mellenia for something like clan identity and it's just fake, that's not sensible conclusion.

Abtiris is real even European monarchs do it to distinguish themselves from the peasants and serfs who r tied to the land holding barons as livestock and their names are not stored cause it dont matter like u dont store sheep or goat names rite and yes alot of humans were treated like that in history in Europe and Asia, magac ma istahilo(even today he don't know his grand dad name) war waxan ma ceeb ba wa qowm layska wato sida ariga ileen dhul mahaysto and u want us to sacrifice land in PL which is insane as land is serious issues it makes one noble and gob and land conflicts in PL are grounded in such things first and resources second.

@TheLand is addicted to the old world order dhaqan and is living in modern society but always watching history ileen that's why society defunds its study it can awake to many people but most ppl do it in private so they can't stop it.

Daarood abtiris is fake beyond Ismaaciil Jeberti, it's clearly made up. The truth is, the people who have preserved the original abtiris are those who call themselves Samaale. It's clear that 'Samaale', is just Soomaali and that we are all Samaale/Somali.

No Daarood person claims to be Aji Samaale, that was my point. The abtiris they carry is to Ismaaciil Jeberti and so forth. Therefore, the original abtiris has not been preserved except among those who consider themselves Samaale today.
You're mistaken. The Daarood know that their lineage traces back to Digaale Aji Irir Samaale. If you want to verify this, check TikTok and Facebook β€” that's where you'll find what the majority believe. As for those on Twitter "X", they tend to have a politically pragmatic mindset and claim to be intellectuals. They read Western and Arab literature, which has influenced and, to some extent, distorted their thinking.

Are you Daarood?

Not a single Daarood I have seen in real life, or even on this forum ever considered being Samaale. We have all been indoctrinated into the mythical abtiris. Only since the DNA results, have some of us readjusted their beliefs.

I’d rather not mention my clan, just to keep our conversations in this forum as neutral and respectful as possible.

Regarding the people you’ve met β€” if you’re in Somalia, most people would likely confirm this for you. Many in our community who don’t speak Arabic or English are quite active on TikTok and Facebook. Feel free to explore those platforms and see for yourself!

I was in Somalia, I know my elders and NONE of them claim Samaale. Even in the screenshot you provided there are Daarood people who are denying it.

Hawiye is delusional too? Where is Irir?

Sheekh Hawiye kulaha.

Every clan has a few individuals who are excessively proud, seeking to boast about their lineage. Since all Somalis are equal and descend from one common ancestor, some of them have claimed descent from the best of mankind β€” the Prophet Muhammad C.S.β€” They read Arab genealogical books and learned how to construct a narrative that appears convincing. Using this knowledge, they fabricated a lineage linking themselves to the descendants of Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn, the sons of Ali ibn Abi Talib.

However, the truth is well known: all Somali clans traces back to Samaale ina Hiil.

Not all Somali clans, Dir including Isaaq (except Habar Awal), are mostly T, so that's not their paternal forebear.
But most, share an ancestor, whether these names are accurate or not, it makes more sense than the current nonsense.

They trace it to Digaale daughter Dombira, and since he had no sons, he took him in, keep in mind Somalis routinely travelled to Yemen and Arabia to either learn or preach Islam, Sheikh Darood was clearly a real person, and the Sanaag region is rich with history, especially amongst Dir and Daroods

I really want more of the E-V32 Dir to take more tests, they'll either form their own branch depending on clan or if it was a recent assimilation or ancient one.

Alright, if we choose to believe the story of Sheikh Darood, then why don't we also believe the stories of Sheikh Hawiye, Sheikh Digil, Sheikh Isaaq, and the rest of the Arab ancestors?

Are we simply rejecting the recorded Somali lineage and genetic evidence?

When a person follows their desires and shuts down their reasoning, they inevitably stray from the right path.

Today, our people have become almost a minority, surrounded by a majority.

We keep claiming different origins: some say we are of Arab descent, others say Indian, some claim Oromo roots, others say Cushitic, and some argue we're a mix of Bantu and Arab.

Where are you trying to go with this? If you were to travel to the lands of these peoples, would they treat you as brothersβ€”or as strangers?

If the new generations continue thinking this way, we are heading toward extinction.

Between famine, terrorism, foreign occupation, people drowning in the sea through illegal migration, and civil wars on one sideβ€”and your identity crisis on the otherβ€”may Allah help us.

Read what I said again, I never implied he was Arab, but a Somali schoolar, we all claim Aqil for prestige.
