Why did they welcome the Oromos in the first place all of this could have been avoided
Oromised Somalis in Hararghe Zone should be given preferential treatment in an ideal world. However, with the identity politics going on in Ethiopia I do not have much hope because a majority of them have been brainwashed by the ideologically shaky 'Oromo' nationalism being pushed mainly by the Habashised Oromo elite. The impressionable youth will fight side by side with those Habasha Oromos in the Federal Army against Somalis if shit was to hit the fan despite some of them knowing that those they are aiming their guns at are their fellow kin.

Babille is complex and I am clueless as to the identity of the so called 'Oromos' attacking the Somalis as Hawiyes are a numerous part of the Babille Oromo.
Tuli-Guleed is a clan conflict with both sides at one point or the other getting aid from either the Oromo or Somali Kilil. The Geri used to get help from Cabdi Iley whilst the Jarso turned to their kin in Hararghe. The ironic thing is that that the Jarso in Tuli-Guleed are the ones who voted to stay in the Somali Kilil whilst the rest of the Jarso voted in 2004 to join the Oromo Kilil.
What fold? Somalis are butchering each other and you spout nonesense like bringing people back to the fold.

I understand there are unique elements to each but what is not unique is that they're all being attacked at once and they all say the oromos are being aided by the oromo region and even the fed military at times. Usually an outside force, pushes people together but I guess it true we are the last true Somali generation, We live in dark times there’s no denying it
Still I’m surprised that no one sees the bigger picture and pushing for unity. I understand Somalis in Somalia fighting but what drives Western Somalia Somalis to fight?

The Somali nomadic character is arrogant by nature. If you don't speak Somali and have become a 'Qoti' you are synonymous with Gunimo hence it don't matter to many of us of if a Hararghe Oromo in Bosaso, Hargeysa or Djibouti is of Somali origin. If it Quacks like a Duck......it is a 'Qoti'. Insteading of showing favouritism to them and trying to bring them back to the fold, we are pushing them to disconnect from any Somali ancestry they have. We are also not advanced politically speaking as we are still transitioning from a nomadic clannist society and have no comprehension of what it means to be a 'nation'. Somalis never had sight of the Bigger picture, and never really thought beyond the interests of their immediate Reer Hebel hence why we can easily be overpowered by a more centralised nation state; Ethiopia!

Best to cut our losses. Jaarso and Akisho should not be allowed to set foot in Galbeed. We Somalis have enough land, best to just keep the land we have instead of trying for useless peace talks with traitors. Allowing them back will lead to more immigrants/spies for all Somali lands. Whether Oromo or Bantu, the pure ones can be dealt with easily, the most dangerous ones are the confused half-breeds who switch around.
It does take centuries for people to change their culture, language, religion, etc. Look at these oromos, as you can see the little 'remnants' are left of their 'somali past' like the clothes their wearing, everything else is forgotten bit by bit as time goes on. The gurgura are still in the 'early' phases @Kingcobra so it can be 'rewinded' in all honesty.

Oromo is a population of old generation somalis and old generation habashis who met and blended together, it's pretty obvious as the language is similar to somali but 'diverges' from it as it gets 'infused' with amharic. They infused for centuries to create this oromo population who are now identity less and refer to either 'somali' or 'amhara' for guidance in their culture, language, religion, dance, etc.
Original 'old populations' of people are 'pure' in the way their is very little 'infusion' in their. I believe dir adopted many people into Somalism to fight against this oromo expansion, his basically dir himself the oromo who left mellenia ago like the gurgura have kkkk. To deny some of the oromo are clearly 'somalis' like jaarso who infused with oromo is impossible, their are possibly many types of jaarso in there from centuries ago. But it's also hard to deny the further out into addis ababa and the surrounds, their not somali types at all. Oromo may have been a small population set originally and expanded and oromized the rest of the tribes who settled there including 'jaarso' now. Oromo expansion comes with 'colonization' which means to change the culture, language, dance, religion, etc. They don't care where your from 'originally' tribally, They look to change your language, culture, dance, politics, and religion to fit with oromo so your 'more' soldiers for them and strategical alliances develop. They are clearly attempting to do this into somali region.
