The so-called "International Community" wants to use aid money to put pressure on Puntland. If I were Deni, I would just introduce a sales tax of 10% on all items purchased on consumers. This would augment the existing taxation schemes, and would make Puntland self sufficient. To hell with the so-called International Community.

Having an efficient taxation makes the money in our accounts and pockets to move around. It enables the government to provide services, and and it revitalizes the economy.

The paper government in Mogadishu should be afterthought. It is actually an impediment to Puntland's progress.
