I had a cousin who was a murtad but the family still treated him ok despite it being heartbreaking for the family but eventually that person came back around.

Kids/young adults always have anti authority questioning and non practicing phases and some come back around. Allah guides who he wills.

I can't kick my kid out on the street. Especially if he becomes a murtad, boys like that get raped on the cold Fenteapolis streets.

Seriously he could come around in the long term you can't give up on blood. A lot of people speak on this without even being a father. It's easy to say you'd disown when you have nothing to own in the first place.

Another side note unironically never kick your kid out onto the street unless they have become a genuine threat. They often become worse when left to their own devices.

They can be kicked if they are a bum at home and causing grief in the home to the younger siblings.
