Police get funding for military grade equipment they use to oppress people. Defunding police would take the money spent on those weapons and use it for community policing. Nobody wants to get rid of the police.

Capital is blind for the most parts. If AA had the capability to take loans and pay them off no racist administration would stop banks from lending to them.

It's the old chicken or egg problem. They can't gain better opportunities because their in a shitty environment and they can't get out without opportunities.

Improve their environment through stricter policing is a start.

Give the cops better training and pay so they don't abuse their powers.

If only non blacks end up creating businesses in the more safer neighborhoods they'll still benefit through more tax revenue.
