That's kind of sad though, they should obviously learn af-somali to interact with other Somalis as they live in Somalia. It should be their Lingua Franca.

However, between themselves they(the ones in Baraawa) should keep Chimini as a home language, as they're not exactly Arab/persian, Indian, Bantu or fully Somali.

Reer waqooyi are so racist we often use reer xamar as synonymous for reer koonfur.

Anyway i have nothing against reer koonfur they are our muslim brothers and i admire that they as non-somalis assimilated very well into the somali culture which must have been difficult for them. Respect !
