Here’s what I think when it comes to responsibility a lot Somali girls have been taught from a young age how to be responsible of a household cause of years of doing chores and housework while living in their parents house

But majority of guys are the opposite later when they get married they don’t feel responsibility towards helping in their home

With all due respect man your so out of touch that I don't even know were to begin.

This maybe true for our parents generation but most certainly not our generation, most Somali males that work live by themselves or with friends, in situations like these your forced to learn how to cook.

The same happens with those that spent time living in university campuses, the low budget forces them to cook at home and ration.

At home hooyo does everything for everybody because she wouldn't want to interrupt their education or studies, she seldom receives any help.

This idea that somehow the daughters constantly help their mothers with cooking and cleaning is straight up fairy tale myth out of the hymn books of those twitter dhocilo your regurgitating.

The facts never lie, the vast majority of them don't know how to cook for shit, even a poll was posted her not long ago showing it.

I know of cases were the male's who lived alone for a decade had to 'teach' them how to cook once they married them.

Lol I’ve seen cadans go through the worst divorces who despise eachother and because the father went to court was given access by a judge he still gets to see kids.

What’s your excuse Somali dads?

Lol you think Somali men will wear comic outfits and climb high buildings just to see their kids? :pachah1:

My grandmother and grandfather stayed with eatchother till their deaths
They’ve lost 2 kids a boy to the Isaaq genocide a girl to malaria. I can’t say the same thing for my mother and father
My mother lost her father during the genocide he was practically non existent in her life due to her being born a year before his death
How’s this a issue you say? All but 2 of my mothers siblings are divorced including her only 2 knew their father well and they where grown men when he died it’s no suprise their marriages where more stable

I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure a healthy relationship is needed with ones parents to have a good marriage

The family you are born into is not the family you die in. Xalimos are never complacent whenever a falling out changes the family dynamic they are either instigating it or gaining the most from it. Men don’t realise this we are often complacent when times have changed there are no laws or social norms keeping women in check. When a person is weak and finally has a chance to be in power, it is not uncommon for it to go to the person’s head women in the west are breeding man haters so run for it before they turn your offspring against you
