I agree with him. I would say that 30% of Somalis are light skinned, 30% are very dark skinned and 40% are brown skinned. But most light somalis are located in Somaliland.

Somalis come in various shades,I myself am dark brown whilst having siblings that are very light and cousins like akon,it's all up to chance but in regards to Africa the Dinka are the darkest and the Berber/Tuareg are the lightest.Every other ethnicity is inbetween however there are many variations within each particular ethnic group
