I've been to your country numerous times, Amhara are dark skinned.

Please don't even try to lecture me. We can't tell the difference amongst each other let alone you. Again the differences are MINIMAL, we cluster pretty much in the exact same places as Amhara.

Bro you're clueless. Do you know how many people claim to be Amhara in Ethiopia when they are in fact not? You probably went to Addis Ababa where it's diverse but go to the Amhara region and in cities like Gonder or Dessie and you'll see lots of light skinned Amhara people.

Amhara are mixed with Oromo and they're closer to the equator. Tigray are still black, they're just not as dark as the average Amhara.

To be honest even the difference between AA people and Northern Amhara is minimal. The average isn't even extremely light, most of the region is rural. At the end of the day we are genetically nearly identical to each other.

Shewan Amhara's mostly are mixed, 'as dark', that is a very small shade difference though.

also eritreans can be very light but most of the time they look like somali skin.

i would say somalis 30% light, 30 nubian south sudan dark, 40% mariin/middle
