That's as meaningful as saying "are you denying that messed up stuff takes place on the Clear-Net?".. Obviously people do as people will do, and there's nothing special about the stuff that happens "there" compared to what happens on the clear net everyone can access normally.

How am I being rude?
It is literally just another side of the wider Internet, "dark net" simply refers to a certain network that you need specific protocols to access; it doesn't mean "dark" as in "malicious". Take the Gopher protocol I mentioned as an example, it's just a bunch of computer hobbyists hosting their text-only websites using an alternate protocol.

Not true, the "dark web" is simply an umbrella term for subnets and protocols that often aren't used by the average person (not installed by default).. The term could easily include some clear-web websites simply because the average person visits only a handful of sites nowadays

Frazzledrip existing is debatable at best. Also you should most likely stop generalising, see above: the "dark web" includes potentially tens of thousands of protocols, most of them not even used by criminals.. The Gopher protocol is an example.

Most of the sites are simply honeypots set up by the "feds" in order to track down the most gullible of "criminals"

That doesn't mean that the "whole of it" is some dangerous shit឴hole rife with criminals, assuming that the Clear-Net is really any better than whatever random protocol you can pick out.. The widespread concept of the Dark-Web is some drug marketplace which is completely wrong, it's simply a blanket term for alternate Web protocols. I stated that the person knows nothing because a ban on the Dark-Net would mean a ban on every single alternative Web protocol.
