95% Of Somalis fall under this haplogroup and the rest who don't fall under the Ismaili Arabs who are Boorans and the history of them crossing the red sea to east Africa has been recorded and their TMRCA is perfect at 4000 years ago the exact time Ismail AS lived

TBH I don’t really consider myself Arab, I’m Somali since my mother tongue is Somali, & culturally & even physically I look Somali. I do identify with being cadcad as my tribe since I grew up being cadcad, but we don’t consider (at least my mother doesn’t) ourselves to be different to the rest at this point. The only different thing about my that may be “non-Somali” is my hair.

it’s a nightmare tbh since I don’t really have a curl pattern but my hair isn’t straight exactly either which makes me end up looking like a crazy woman.
