it would have required a sustained effort for a period of time. we just didn't have the support and resources to hold off Ethiopia for long. its easy to capture but to hold is another thing.

You do realize they were near 35 million and we were a mere 3-4 million right? Sxb manpower isn't the only factor. The level of training is paramount. For example, one well equiped and well trained soldier could take out ten incompetent ethiopian soldiers. We may lack manpower, but we could compensate this shortcoming by focusing more on the quality of our soldiers & technology.

Agreed bro. Somalis can fight better than a lot of people. With proper equipment and training, there is no doubt in my mind we can get back every inch of our land assuming the west doesn't stop us. It pisses me of how these Ethiopians and kenyans would receive military assistance but we never would. My dream is to see united somalis even if they live in different independent regions.
