Its not that theres not a lot its just somalis are put under black in the census or that they only count somalia born somalis as somalis and not somalis born in america i would say in DC over 10,000

no theres a large somali community in DC around Fairfax Va, Arlington and alexandria theres more somalis there than California yes theres somalis in LA especially Inglewood but most moved to MN and theres somalis in San Francisco.
This is where Somali Americans are found and when they came.
1. Minnesota- Largest population most came in the 90's
2.Ohio- second largest most came in the 90's
3. Seattle-90's
4.Washington DC- from diplomates a lot of the former regimes workers and a lot of educated people that came in early 70's. 70's-80's. Americanized
5. San Diego- 77 war mostly from galbeed, and 80's with a lot of recent FOBS.
6.Atlanta- Lots of Fobs and people from the 90's
7. Portland- 90's early 2000s
8. Boston- old school 70-80's with some recent fobs. Americanized
9. New York . Upstate- 90's NYC more older 70-80's Americanized
10. Nashville-fobs 2000+, Maine fobs, Phenoix- tuscan fobs, North Carolina some fobs some older.

Thanks for the information this is very formative i know theres a small somali community in DMV they manily concentrate in VA and most assimilated with the population but most moved to Canada or Minnesota because i heard is very expensive to live in DC. I find it hard to believe theres Somalis in LA. Theres no Somalis in San Francisco i remember one Somali girl on twitter that goes to college in SF said most people had no idea what a somali was and said they never met any your confusing with san jose since thats the Bay Area

Lol theres only around 2,000 somalis in the whole of DMV let alone DC theres barely any there trust me i would know.

Fairfax indian and other, Springfield central and south american, somali and west africans, Arabs everywhere. Persians Mclean, Sudanese reston, Paki and Algerian, Tunisian ashburn. But not to many Ethiopians they mostly live in Maryland and DC itself

yesss same as Somalis there used to be a lot of us in the DMV around the late 80s and i mean a lot till they heard Canada and Minesota not only give out welfare but they also heard of a large Somali community and all moved

Yes Habesha people A LOT were talking 50,00 + but as for Somalis there are virtually none in LA which is a shame

trust me the river separates the two , South Americans, Somalis,Indain , packs , Asains,and Arabs on the west side in Va. On the East side in DC and Maryland its Whites, Ethiopans , Jews, European Immigrants, African Americans and others.

If the entire state census was done we would not he more

He just needs to accept that the DMV is run by Habesha's and we're a minority over there
