This is a scenario, imagine you get married you think the guy is a calm practising brother but after being married a while he says he wants you to cover up completely (niqab). You already observe good hijab and wear long skirts. You are not at this level of imaan yet, what would you do? & why do some ppl do this where they try to change someone AFTER marriage when they know who they married, why not marry a niqabi if you wanted one. It’s very odd weird behaviour. This I would understand in Saudi & the person is salami extreme

Truth is walaal, some of the chicks here love to talk about rights of women in Islam and whatnot, and alx for this. But they don't like to accept the rights of the man in islam. If you kindly and respectfully ask your wife to wear a niqab or stop talking to men on the socials, these women lose it.

Nobody is talking about socials. Both of You shouldnt have opposite gender on there. End of. The problem is trying to change someone to fit how you want them to be. And what if that command from the husband brings unhappiness into the household with the wife resenting her husband? The conservation doesn't end at , "honey, I'd like you to wear a niqab". He also has to listen to her thoughts on whether or not she'd like to wear it. And the niqab is not obligatory, she has the choice of wearing it or not.
